MEET THE BAKER.png

After years of creating cakes and goodies for my friends & family for special occasions, I decided to take the leap & began Scratch Bakery in 2016. I've always had a love for baking and creating. In 2020, after teaching & being a stay-at-home mom for years, I chose to focus my full attention on the bakery. Having the flexibility of being home and running my business while still being able to be there for my family was a no-brainer.

I love what I do & I am so grateful that my customers allow me to be a small part of their very special occasions - from gender reveals and milestone birthdays to weddings and graduations. It is truly an honor to create something for all these events!

 I enjoy working with my customers to create the perfect treats for their occasions. My main focus is taste, taste, taste using quality ingredients. If something looks wonderful, but doesn't taste good, I do not use it.

I listen to my customers requests, and also encourage any ideas they may have for design and or flavor combinations. I then let them know what I believe the best design, or flavor combination would be. I want to be sure that they are getting what they want, and that there are no surprises… (unless they want it to be a surprise) ☺️

Part of the reason I began baking and decorating for my in family was due to unmet expectations. I don't ever want my customers to feel like they didn't get what they were looking for.
